Privacy Policy

Last updated · 18 July 2026

We keep this policy plain and specific: what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how we protect it. If anything here is unclear, write to us.

01

Who we are

Freightflow is operated by The Meridian Globals ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit our website, request a demo, or use the product.

For privacy questions or requests, contact us at info@freightflow.in.

02

Information we collect

  • Contact and demo requests: your name, work email, mobile number, company, and any notes you send us.
  • Account data: user profiles, roles and permissions your organisation configures.
  • Operational data: the documents and shipment, booking and billing records you and your counterparties submit, which we process to provide the service.
  • Usage and technical data: log data needed to operate, secure and improve the service.
03

How we use information

  • To respond to demo requests and enquiries.
  • To provide, secure and support the service.
  • To process documents and generate the bookings, bills, invoices and alerts you configure.
  • To meet legal, tax and compliance obligations.
04

Our role and legal basis

For operational data submitted by customers, we act as a data processor on the customer's instructions; the customer is the data fiduciary/controller. For website visitors and demo requesters, we act as the fiduciary. We process personal data on the bases available under applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, such as your consent and the performance of a contract.

05

Sharing and sub-processors

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run Freightflow, under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations — for example, cloud hosting (AWS), a GST Suvidha Provider for e-invoicing, and email infrastructure. We may disclose data where required by law.

06

How we protect data

  • Tenant isolation, so each customer's data is scoped to that customer.
  • Encryption of sensitive credentials at rest; secrets are never returned to the browser.
  • Role-based access controls and authenticated access.
  • Audit logging of key changes, financial actions and e-invoice filings.
07

Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and tax obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Customer Data is retained per the customer's instructions and order form.

08

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Where we process data on a customer's behalf, we will direct your request to that customer. To exercise your rights, contact info@freightflow.in.

09

Cookies

Our marketing website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use advertising cookies.

10

International transfers

Where data is processed outside your country, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with applicable law and our agreements with sub-processors.
